The Sunshine State has a lot to offer. From wild rides to natural wonders, there is plenty to keep the entire family busy. Florida is a fantastic place to spend your summer. It offers great weather, fantastic food, crazy clubs, and incredible attractions. No matter what your age, you can find something to suit every taste. Kids will love the Legoland theme park in Winter Haven. There are shows, rides, and interactive exhibits for visitors of all ages.

Another great activity is taking a cave tour. While cave tours are the main attraction, you can also enjoy swimming, kayaking, and hiking. The park is also home to some rare wildlife. If you’re lucky, you can spot a baby panther or two. Or, for a family vacation, you can head to a local botanical garden to see more than 300 species of plants and animals.

Whether you’re a family or traveling with kids, you’ll find a great variety of things to do in Florida. There is something for everyone, from theme parks to a natural coastal experience. Sea shelling is one of the most popular Florida activities, and Sanibel Island is a great place to find pristine sand dollars and shells. The area is also known as the shelling capital of the US.

While in Florida, don’t forget to explore the historic cities. If you have the time, you can visit St. Augustine. The city was founded in 1565 and is considered the oldest city in the United States. Old Town St. Augustine is about a 45-minute drive from Jacksonville. You can take a lantern-light tour through the cobblestone streets, where you can explore the city’s history. You can even take a ghost tour to learn more about its haunted legends.

Dry Tortugas National Park is another must-do adventure in Florida. This national park comprises seven islands, all accessible by seaplane and boat. A guide can point out various animals and birds that inhabit the area. You can even see alligators and snakes if you’re lucky enough.

Another theme park in Florida is Universal Studios. It’s a huge attraction with three theme parks and a city walk district. The park has something for the whole family, including rides for little ones and an area dedicated to Harry Potter. Whatever your interests, you’ll have a great time at Universal.

The Ringling Museum in Sarasota is another great off-the-beaten-path destination. Once the home of the famous Ringling Bros. Circus, the Ringling Museum has an interactive museum that lets you experience the thrill of a circus. You’ll get a chance to try walking on a tight wire and view artifacts from the golden age of the American circus.
